Meet the Orphans
Maisha means LIFE and that's precisely what we bring to the orphans and widows of Kenya. By giving Maisha's founder Beatrice Williamson a scholarship for education, Anna Lanson began a legacy of hope. Anna gave Beatrice a chance to succeed in life and tell her story. Now we are offering you the same opportunity to sow into the future of a child through Maisha's Legacy of Hope child sponsorship program.
Orphans and destitute children all over the world suffer in silence. Born into poverty to parents struggling to survive on just pennies a day, these unfortunate children live without access to medical care, education, adequate housing, clothing, appropriate food and a chance for a better future. Millions of children have been orphaned due to AIDS or malaria in Kenya. The HIV epidemic is currently the leading cause of death in Africa. Maisha meets their immediate needs of food and shelter; however, without education, they will continue this cycle of poverty and death. With your monthly sponsorship of $35 a month, Maisha will be able to provide the education this child deserves by paying for their school fees, school uniforms, books and supplies.
